Mission
Young European Artist’s mission is to support emerging artists in Europe by transforming underused spaces into vibrant creative communities. Young European Artists aims to bridge the gap between vacant properties and emerging artists by providing affordable and creative spaces for artists to work and showcase their art.
Our mission is to support and promote emerging artists while revitalising underused properties and contributing to the economic and cultural growth of our communities. By partnering with real estate developers, businesses, communities and property owners, we create value for all stakeholders.
Our model not only benefits artists, but also increases the desirability and value of properties, while demonstrating a commitment to social responsibility and community engagement.
History of the association
Our association was founded in 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic provided food for thought and transformed the world, including the real estate industry, which saw a shift towards remote working, creating vacant spaces. As a not-for-profit organisation, we were set up to support emerging artists and revitalise underused properties. Our company was founded in Brussels, the capital of Europe, where we realised that young artists often find it difficult to create and promote their work.
To remedy this, we are building a database of young European artists and providing them with affordable and creative spaces in which to work and present their art. In addition, we aim to create an annual international art fair for young European artists to promote their work and increase their visibility to the public.
Any reproduction, in whole or in part, by whatever means, without the consent of the Artists is unlawful.
